GNSS.asia services
GNSS.asia supports cooperation between the GNSS industries of Europe and Asia-Pacific, with a focus on chipset/receiver manufacturers and downstream applications. Since it’s establishment in 2012, the project has supported over 40 businesses, with an outreach to over 1200 participants at GNSS.asia global events. Via support to institutional stakeholders (including delegation trips and roundtable organisation), GNSS.asia has also helped to promote the benefits of Galileo and EGNOS to key public decision-makers in Asia-Pacific.
GNSS.asia has three objectives:
- Leverage industrial cooperation across continents
- Support institutional relations
- Drive EGNSS adoption
These objectives are fulfilled via a range of institutional and industrial support services. These include:
- Targeted industrial matchmaking
- Analysis of key Asia-Pacific economies
- Facilitating institutional support
- Industrial roundtable and workshop coordination
- EGNSS promotion and outreach
- Talent cultivation
GNSS.asia is financed under the EU Horizon 2020 programme and coordinated by the European GNSS Agency (GSA).
